Jagannath Salt Private Limited (formerly known as Jagannath Namak Udhog) is located in Kharagodha, near the Kharagodha Rann, India’s second-largest inland salt desert in Gujarat. We are a leading salt manufacturer and supplier in India, offering a diverse range of premium salt products, including Triple Refined Free Flow Iodized Salt, Triple Refined Free Flow Industrial Salt, Double Fortified Salt (Iron Plus Iodine), and various other industrial salts.

The company was founded in 1983 by Mr. Navrang Lal Agarwal, a first-generation entrepreneur, who initially began salt trading and common salt production in Ajmer, with an area of approximately 250 Bhiga. Building on four years of successful experience in the salt industry, Mr. Agarwal established North India's first Non-Iodized Refined Salt plant under the name "Jagannath Chemfood Private Limited" in Nawa City in 1987. Recognizing the essential role of iodine for human health, he later began iodizing and packing salt in large (70-100 kg) and smaller packs (25 kg and 50 kg).

In 2008, the second-generation entrepreneurs, Mr. Yogesh Gupta and Mr. Vinit Agarwal, joined the business, bringing fresh ideas and further strengthening the company. By 2020, they established one of Gujarat's largest salt washery facilities.
